Traceable Origin
Grown on the volcanic slopes of Mauna Loa from verified native Hawaiian seed stock — cultivated at the elevation and in the volcanic soil where koa thrives in the wild. Every tree carries documented Mauna Loa provenance, a supply-chain credential no generalist nursery can replicate.
Care Notes
Koa Starters are hardened off and ready for planting without additional nursery time. Choose a sunny slope with good drainage — koa does not tolerate standing water. Mulch the base to retain moisture during the first dry season, and stake against wind exposure until the tree reaches 2 ft. Fertilize sparingly; koa fixes nitrogen naturally.
