Mauna Loa Provenance
Traceable Origin
Grown on the volcanic slopes of Mauna Loa from verified native Hawaiian seed stock — cultivated at the elevation and in the volcanic soil where koa thrives in the wild. Every tree carries documented Mauna Loa provenance, a supply-chain credential no generalist nursery can replicate.
Care Notes
Seedlings require careful site preparation — choose a well-drained volcanic soil location at elevations between 1,500 and 6,000 ft on Hawaii Island for best establishment. Water daily for the first two weeks after outplanting, then reduce as the root system anchors. Protect from ungulates with caging until the plant reaches 3 ft.
Pickup & Delivery
Hawaii Island Only
Available for local pickup at our Mauna Loa growing site or Hawaii Island delivery — logistics coordinated via confirmation email after purchase. We do not ship live trees off-island.
